John PRANKE an old man seventy years of age living near Springdale committed suicide by shooting himself yesterday afternoon about 1:30 o'clock. The gun, a single barrelled shot gun was the instrument by which he did the terrible deed. He placed the muzzle in his mouth and discharged the gun tearing the side of his face away. His wife, the only person near at the time, ran to a neighbor's for assistance. When help arrived they found the house on fire. The cause for the deed is not known but worry over the accident to his son on last Saturday is supposed to have affected his mind. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jefferson/obits/p/pranke1193gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
