William Schafer.
William F. SCHAFER, 73, who farmed near Perry for more than 40 years, died
Monday in a Topeka hospital.
He was born Aug. 25, 1888, near Newman, and was a member of the Perry Methodist
Church, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.
Survivors include his widow, Minnie at home; a brother, John Mulhal, Okla.; a
sister, Mrs. Annie PETERSON, Fullerton, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Josephine
TRUED, Ridgewood, N.J.; five sons, William Jr., of 2001 Meriden Road; Truman
with the armed forces in Wiesbaden, German, John of Amiens, France, Eugene of
Perry and Robert of 4723 W. 17th Ter.; and 15 grandchildren.
