Garrett (Jack) SIMPSON of Oskaloosa died Friday at the VA Hospital in Topeka. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Oskaloosa with burial in Ozawkie Cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home at Oskaloosa was in charge of arrangements. Simpson was born April 26, 1901, in Bland, Mo. He owned and operated service stations in Oskaloosa for the past twenty years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the WWI Barracks at Oskaloosa. He was a member of the Pleasant View Grange, the American Legion, the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges and the Presbyterian Church all of Oskaloosa. Survivors include his wife, Rosa of the home; a foster daughter, Mrs. Louise WILLIS of Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Anna FRESHOUR of Jefferson City, Mo.; a brother, D.E.
