Death of John Steinmetz.

John H. STEINMETZ, 70, died Tuesday at the home of Patrick DesGeorges in Topeka.
He was born March 1, 1870 in Atchison county, and lived in Atchison and
Jefferson counties until 1930 when he moved to Topeka. He was a member of the
St. Marys Catholic church in Valley Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. John H. Steinmetz, of the home; one brother,
A.R. Steinmetz, Valley Falls; one sister, Etta May RAY, Billings, Mont., and a
number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the St. Marys Catholic church in Valley
Falls. Burial in Valley Falls.
