Lola Swindell.
Mrs. Lola SWINDELL, 86, of 2070 Buchannan, died Thursday at her home. Funeral
services and burial were held in Topeka Monday, January 29.
Born March 28, 1875, at Hoyt, she spent most of her life as a resident of
Topeka. Shew as a member of the Baptist Church. 
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Thelma GORDON of the home, Mrs. Mary
TOWNSEND of Paris, Tenn., Mrs. Hazel CLIFT and Mrs. Ethel KNAPP, both of Perry;
one son, Raymond GORDON of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Josie DORMAN of
Avondale, Ariz.; three brothers, Benjamin CLELAND of Stillwater, Okla., Dave
Cleland of Independence and Saul Cleland in California; nine grandchildren and
17 great-grandchildren.
