Henry TAYLOR died Sunday afternoon at his home, 709 West Sixth avenue, from a complication of diseases. Mr. Taylor was well known in the business circles of Eastern Kansas and Kansas City for many years. He moved from his home in Ohio to Kansas in 1859 and engaged in the stock raising business near Oskaloosa. He was successful and entered the banking business first in Oskaloosa and in 1879 moved to Topeka, where he opened a private bank which was afterwards merged into the Kansas National Bank. Mr. Taylor was 66 years old. He leaves besides his widow, two sons Nat and William Tayor and three married daughters, Mrs. Herman LESCHER, of Great Falls, Montana, and Mrs. R.P. RECKARDS of Great Falls, Montana, and Mrs. Matthew MacFERRAN of Toeka. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence.--State Journal.
