The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, May 15, 1875
Mrs. Rolla TAYLOR, Sr., who died at her home near this place, on the 6th inst.,
was 69 years of age, was born in Pennsylvania, but had been a resident of Kansas
for fifteen years. She was an excellent Christian woman, and had been for
forty-two years a member of the M.E. church.
