It was a sad journey Mr. Jobe TRAPP made on his return from Oklahoma last week--much different from the one he made last fall when he and his wife traveled to the Territory in a covered wagon. When they left Oskaloosa they were in good spirits, full of hope. THey had a son in the Territory and they anticipated a pleasant time on there arrival there. But how uncertain is life. They arrived there all right, but a short time ago Mrs. Trapp took down with the la grippe from which she never recover. The husband started on his sorrowful journey back to Oskaloosa with the remains, soon after her death, and arrived here Sunday. Funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. Evans, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. McConnell, after which the remains were interred in Oskaloosa's beautiful cemetery. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jefferson/obits/t/trapp1368ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
