The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, April 17, 1875
Died.--On Monday morning, April 12, 1875, of consumption, at her residence in
Oskaloosa, Mrs. S.E. TROWER, wife of Mr. L.J. Trower, in the 31st year of her age.
In January 1872 she made a profession of religion and united with the
Presbyterian church of this place and has since lived an exemplary christian
life; always cheerful and hopeful, even during great suffering.
