Tullis. Mrs. Dora A. TULLIS, 73, died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore LUSE of McLouth. Mrs. Tulllis was born May 17, 1888, at Lenexa, Kan., a daughter of Herman and Catherine HEIEN and was a resident of the McLouth community most of her life. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary of Valley Falls. She was married to James R. Tullis Nov. 23, 1908, at Olathe. Mr. Tullis died in 1942. One son, Charles preceded her in death in 1945. Besides her daughter, survivors include 5 sons, Harry of Valley Falls; Vernon, Leonard, Robert and John all of McLouth; four brothers, John Heien, Amarillo, Tex., Carl Heien of Roosevelt, Okla., Elmer Heien, Snyder, Okla., and Ed. Heien, Olathe, and 14 grandchildren. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church with the Rev. John GILBERT officiating. Burial was at the McLouth Cemetery.
