Mrs. Ione Wallace.
Mrs. Ione WALLACE, 64, Pomona, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital after an
extended illness.
She was the wife of LeMar Wallace, principal of Pomona High School last year and
new principal at Auburn High School for the coming school year.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of Pomona Methodist Church and a member of Pomona OES.
Survivors besides the widower include a foster daughter, Mrs. Lucille COLBOTH,
Toledo, Ohio, and a brother, Daniel A. ZIMMERMAN, Powhattan.
Services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church with burial in Powhattan.
Mrs. Wallace has many friends in Perry, where she lived for several years when
Mr. Wallace was principal of Perry High School. They moved to Pomona from Perry
in 1950.
