The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, April 11, 1874
Died.--March 26, 1874, at Clyde, Caly, Co., Ks., of brain fever, and paralysis,
Mr. John WILLIAMS, son of Rev. Dr. Williams, of Rock Creek, this county, aged 22
years.
Mr. W. was on his way to Jewell county when taken ill. His body was brought to
Meriden, his former home, and interred. He was highly respected and funeral was
largely attended.
