Dr. Mel Worthington.
Marengo, Iowa--Funeral and burial for Dr. Mel WORTHINGOTN, 32, of Marengo, a
former Kansan, who was fatally injured in an auto accident near here Thursday,
were held in Marengo.
Dr. Worthington, a 1954 graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at
Kansas State University, had his practice at Marengo.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Donna Joyce Worthington, and three sons,
Stephen, Stanley, and Stuart Worthington, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Wood Worthington, Perry, three sisters, Judy PERRY of the home; Mrs. Jean
TUBBS of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Phyllis SPREER of Germany, and three
brothers, Larry Worthington and Keith Worthington of Perry and Eldon Worthington
of Grantville.
