The sad news of the death of Mrs. H.H. WOLBERT was received in this city Monday morning. Mrs. WOLBERT was reported seriously ill last week at her home in Hamburg, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. W.E. HUTCHINS were summoned there by telegram. Later dispatches reported Mrs. WOLBERT much improved, and when Mr. and Mrs. HUTCHINS arrived at her bedside she was pronounced out of danger, but Sunday afternoon her condition became more serious and she died at 7:15 o'clock Sunday evening. Mrs. WOLBERT was born in this city and was the youngest of Mr. and Mrs. N.E. PARKER's three children. She and her husband were preparing to leave Arkansas for Colorado when she was taken with the grip, which resulted in her death. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. HUTCHINS, N.E. PARKER, Mrs. James PARKER, and H.H. WOLBERT and children accompanied the remains here where the funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the residence of W.E. HUTCHINS, conducted by Rev. Ralph Newman of Leavenworth. =================================================== Contributed for use by the USGenWeb Archive Project (http://www.usgenweb.org) and by the KSGenWeb USGenWeb Archive Project USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organization or persons.
