The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, October 6, 1877
Married.--On Saturday evening, Sept. 29, by B.P. Stanley, J.P., at his
residence, Mr. John L. HAND and Miss Alice L. BOUCHER, all of Oskaloosa.
We wish Miss Alice and her husband a happy and properous life. They in company
with Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong, departed for Nebraska, Monday, but are to return to
this county to reside, we believe.
