At 8 o'clock Wednesday morning, Feb. 24, 1909, Mr. George Allen HARDING and Miss Ellen E. BURNAU were married in the U.B. church, by the pastor, E.E. McAferty. Only a few friends were present at the ceremony. The bride has been operator at the Telephone office several years and has many warm friends who were sorry to see her leave the telephone office. The groom is an industrious, prosperous young man. He served several years in the Navy and when he finished his term in the Navy, came home and has been looking after his farm south of town. They left soon after the wedding on the 9:26 train, going to Kansas City and then to the bride's former home in Pleasanton, Iowa, on a wedding trip. They will be at home to friends after the first of April on the farm. The Times joins with their many friends in wishing them great success and a large amount of happiness in their wedded life. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jefferson/vitals/marriages/burnau426gmr.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
