Mr. Edward BLACK and Miss Katie CARNAHAN were married at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday evening, Feb.9th, 1909, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Carnahan, east of McLouth, Rev. Smauel Magill of Graham, Mo., officiated. The young couple received many presents. After the ceremony a feast was enjoyed by the large number present who were mostly relatives of the bridal couple. Out of town guests were Mrs. and Mrs. Will PYLE of Jarbalo, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. TRAPP of Oskaloosa, Will YOST of Oskaloosa, Miss Maude TRACKWELL, of Ackerland, Mrs. Jas. RICE and daughters, Edith and Nellie of Lawrence. Mr. and Mrs. BLACK will live on the farm north of McLouth that he purchased recently of Thomas GILBERT.
