The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, October 17, 1874
Married.--Oct. 15, 1874, at 7 p.m. by Rev. Jacob M. Stallard, at the residence
of John Kirkpatrick, Esq., Sugar Grove, Ind., Mr. W.A. HAMILTON of Oskaloosa and
Miss Emma KIRKPATRICK, of Sugar Grove.
Our heartfelt good wishes go with Bro. Hamilton on his voyage of life. May the
sunshiny days far out number the cloudy ones, and all the clouds have a very
bright silver lining.
The newly joined couple will start for Iowa the morning after the wedding, and
will reach this place, probably, about the 23d inst., when we bespeak for them a
warm welcome.
