A quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. MILLER at high noon Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1909, when their oldest daughter, Miss Leila was married to Mr. Thomas J. SMITH, Rev. E.E. McAFERTY performed the ceremony. The bride is well known in this community having been Central telephone girl for near two years and gave good satisfaction. Mr. Smith is day operator at the Soldier's Home. The happy couple will make their home at Lansing, Kansas.
