The Oakley GRAPHIC, Oakley, Logan County, Kansas; Friday, March 13, 1891 March 13, 1891

A family named HAIR, living in Kiowa county, became the parents of a girl  
the other day and named her Alliance.  Will they call her, for short, All  
Hair, or All--wool, and a yard wide?

Additional Comments:

The comment on the name, Alliance HAIR, speaks to a name reflecting current 
events and politics.  The editor of the Oakley GRAPHIC used bits and pieces 
from other newspapers, so a local newspaper undoubtedly would have mention of 
the birth.
