Y. Davis, retired farmer, dies, aged 71" aged 71 yrs, 10 mo, 7 days. Died Tuesday p.m. at the home in north part of town. Funeral this morning. Buried Oak Hill Cemetery, Chetopa. His nephew [Oporia Orton], a Baxter Springs minister, officiated. Survived by his wife, one son, Harry Davis, an attorney at Muskogee and 3 daughters who live in Washington D.C.
