Mass was on 22 May 2007 at St. Mary's, then burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at West in McLennan County. Connally-Compton Funeral Home was in charge. He was born to Wiley Clark Ward, Sr. and Edith Mae Anderson Ward in Linwood, Leavenworth County,Kansas, on 6 August 1918. He served as a Seaman First Class in the US Navy from 1941 to 1945. In 1980, he retired from work as a welder at McClellan AFB in California. He lived at the Stillwell Retirement Center in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Edna Kember Ward, an infant son, and second wife Mabel McBride Ward. Survivors: brother Eugene A. Ward and wife Norma of Bonner Springs, Kansas and good friend Regina Kluck, a widow, of Waco. Additional Comments: I was not related to him. I belong to St. Mary's Parish.
