W.F. BAIRD recently received the sad news of the death of his brother, A.E.
BAIRD of Wenona, Ill. WHile the news of his death is a sorrow to Mr. Baird, it
was not unlooked for, as he had long battled with that dreaded disease,
consumption. He had been a sufferer of this disease for a number of years and
had often times longed for death, for which he was fully prepared. Mr. Baird was
a resident of Lincoln township in the year of 1885. He leaves a wife, father,
mother, five brothers and one sister to mourn his loss. Deceased was 39 years
old at the time of his death.
