Mr. Enoch BAKER died on Monday of last week at Catawba, Ohio, aged about 80
years. He was the father of Mrs. George W. BOTKIN, of this city, and was
formerly a resident of Paris township, this county. For some time previous to
the departure of himself and wife, a few months ago, for a visit to Ohio, Mr.
and Mrs. Baker lived with their daughter and her husband in La Cygne. The
deceased bore an excellent reputation and died, at a ripe old age, regretted by
a large circle of relatives and friends.
