The death of Mrs. Jennie BROOKS, the esteemed wife of Dr. Brooks, was a great
shock to everyone. Mrs. Brooks was to all appearances in the best of health when
the angel of death summoned her. At first it was thought she might be in a
trance. Doctors PAUL, TREGO, BROOKS and BROOKS, and WILLIAMS of Hume, Mo., made
final examination and pronounced her dead. Death was caused by the bursting of a
blood vessel at the base of the brain.
