CARTER winged its flight to that celestial shore. Sarah A. CROW was born Nov. 15, 1834 in Randolph county, North Carolina and was married to John L. Carter in 1860; came to Kansas in 1872. She was united with the church at the age of fifteen years, and was a devoted Christian worker up to the time of her death. Brother Carter and family have the heart-felt sympathies of the community at large in this hour of bereavement. The remains were interred int he Littell cemetery and the last sad rites were witnessed by a large concourse of friends. The funeral was preached by Rev. I.B. Pulliam.
