The Border Sentinel, Linn County, Friday, June 19, 1874
Mrs. Emma DEWEY, wife of Oscar Dewey, of this place, died on last Monday night
of dropsy, aged 50 years, 9 months and 20 days.
She had been suffering with this disease for over a year. She came to Kansas
with her husband from Kane county, Illinois, at an early day, having lived here
about sixteen years.
She leaves a family and many friends to mourn her loss.
