Mrs. Anna EALES wife of William Eales, died Wednesday morning, February 28, at
thier home on one of Thomas OYSTER's farms, six miles west of Paola, after a
lingering illness with cancer. Mrs. Eales was fifty-three years of age and was a
native of Kentucky, coming to this state with her husband and family twelve
years ago, and to this county two years ago. She was a kind mother and a
faithful Christian, a member of the Baptist church for many years. She leaves a
husband and thirteen children. The youngest daughter abotu nine years of age.
The funeral services were held from the residence Thursday morning at 10
o'clock. The remains were buried in the Paola cemetery.--Paola Republican.
