Eli Steward HUFFMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Huffman, died at his home in Paris township last Monday, December 4, 1899, aged nearly 23 years. The deceased was born in Scott township, this county, December 27, 1876. For six weeks his suffering was intense but he bore the pain with great patience and was never heard to complain. He was rational until the last and the night before he died he told his sister, Mrs. WHEELER, that he must bid her and all the rest goodbye. He leaves a father, mother, five sisters and two brothers to mourn his untimely death. The funeral was held at the Walnut Grove school house Wednesday, December 6th, by Rev. W.H.
