Long Dead. This week we received the following communication from Nora BARNARD, of Chandler, Oklahoma: W.I. LONG, one of the early settlers of Kansas and who resided for a number of years five miles southwest of LaCygne, died at this place on April 29th of smallpox. He leaves a wife and seven children, four of whom together with Mrs. Long are now ill with the smallpox.
