October 4, 1864 she was married to Lewis LOVE and the following spring they removed to Kanawa county, West Virginia where they resided until the year '85 when with their family they removed to Linn county, Kansas, locating near LaCygne. After four years residence there they removed to the vicinity of Cadmus where she resided at her death. Sister Love was the mother of seven children--two boys and five girls all who have all grown up under her tender care and beautiful example of Christian living, she being the first to break the family circle. She has been a faithful Christian all her life, having first united with the Free Will Baptist church and after her marriage united with the Methodist Episcopal church of which she has ever been a loyal and faithful member until after a brief illness of six days and loving hands and medical skill had done all possible to relieve her intense suffering and keep her, on February 18, 1900 she was called from the church militant to the chruch triumphant before the throne of God. The gentle, kind and sweet influence of Sister Love or "Aunt Love" as she was famililarly called will live forever in the hearts of those who knew her best and remains as token to draw them to Him who knoweth all our sorrow. The funeral services were conducted at the M.E. church by her pastor, in union with the Cadmus Grange of which she was a member, and with the honors and beautiful tributes of that order's loving hands of its members, her body was laid to rest in the Cadmus cemetery, the large congregation attesting their high esteem for her and love and sympathy for her loved ones. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/linn/obits/l/love332ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 2.4 Kb
