Her husband is a physician and has been here for three or four months. On Thursday or Friday of last week she was confined, no one being called in or knowing of the circumstance, expecting her husband, and the child was either still-born or died soon after birth. The poor woman lay in suffering without any other help or assistance excepting such as was rendered by her husband until Saturday night, when some of the neighbors becoming aware of the facts, went to her assistance, but she was past all help. Dr. SANFORD was called in, but was unable to render any aid, finding her sinking from mortification caused by bad treatment and neglect. She died on Sunday morning. Mr. SPENCER started around with a subscription paper and soon raised a sufficient amount of money to procure a decent coffin, an dshe was interred on Sunday afternoon. Much indignation is felt by those congnizant of ! the facts towards the person guilty of the neglect which hastened, if it do not cause her death. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/linn/obits/l/loveland352ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
