March 23, 1900

John MUNDELL died at his home three miles northeast of here last Wednesday, of
pneumonia, age 54 years. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his death.
He was an old soldier and a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were
conducted at the residence by Rev. Cochran and the remains were laid  to rest in
the Douglas cemetery.(Farlinville.)
