George M. Russom Dead.

George M. RUSSOM died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nora SPRINGER, February
28, 1900, after an illness of about four weeks. He was born in Gilphen county,
North Carolina, Dec. 24, 1830. He was aged 70 years, 2 months and 4 days. He was
the father of seven children, only two of whom are left to mourn the loss,
Hillery C. Russom and Mrs. Nora Springer. He leaves eleven grandchildren and one
great grandchild. He was married in Henry county, Indiana, April 6, 1856 to
Keturah HOWELL. They moved to Kansas March, 1879. He was an old citizen of Linn
county and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
