Scott Tilton, (formerly editor of this paper), aged 21 years, 5 months and 18 days. Mrs. Tilton was a lady in every respect; a good wife, a kind mother, and one who won the good will of all. By her death we have lost on this earth, one of our kindest and best friends. We sympathize with her sorrow stricken husband in his deep affliction. It is only he, who has had the misfortune to lose one so near and dear, that can tell of the pangs and bitterness of this world, and when we glance at the matter, with a calm and resolute thought, how sad it seems to be left alone, only with the little cherubs, taken as from the mother's breast, to console him, and they placed upon the world without knowing whether they will be carefully looked after or not. Yes, it is sad.
