Wilgus Is Dead. Yesterday evening about 8 o'clock our community was shocked by the news of the sudden death of John T. WILGUS. He was at the stock yard assisting in loading a car of stock. After helping to push the car away from the chute he turned to go back and remarked,"I wouldn't want to help push that to Kansas City." Those were his last words. He had gone only a few steps when he fell to the ground--dead. The news was whispered from one to another throughout the town in a feeling of the deepest sorrow for John T. Wilgus was one of our closet and best citizens. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/linn/obits/w/wilgus344ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
