The Border Sentinel, Linn County, Friday, June 27th, 1873
Married.--By the Rev. Wm. Sibley, at the residence of the bride's father, on
June 19th, 1873, Mr. Michael VANBUSKIRK and Miss Elizabeth EAHART, all of Linn
Co., Ks.
Michael, with all his extreme modesty and bashfulness, has taken unto himself a
wife--"for worse, for better, or for good". We have no fears of him ever
regretting his first choice. She is a lady highly respected, and the
congratulations of many will be extended for her future welfare. We could be
willing to wear out a package of Faber's best to write up the happy couple's
pleasures through life, should the occasion require it. "Mike" is one of the
best boys in Kansas. May the calm air of heaven gently waft o'er their heads.
