The Item, Linn County, Friday, July 17, 1896
Married.
At the residence of the bride's father, Harland Jackson, on Wednesday evening,
July 15, at 5 o'clock, Miss Alma JACKSON to Austin COFFIN; Presiding Elder
McCune officiating. Miss Bertha Jones acted as bridesmaid and John Keenan as
groomsman. About forty guests witnesssed the ceremony and partook of the
bountiful repast prepared for the occasion. The bride is the youngest child of
Mr. and Mrs. Harland Jackson; has been reared in their beautiful country home.
The groom is a young farmer of good moral habits--a model young man. The
presents were numerous and beautiful.
