In the District Court within and for the county of Logan, in the State of Kansas: Emily E. LAWTON, Plaintiff, vs. Charles Q. HASTINGS and The Farmers' Loan and Trust Company of Kansas, Defendants. Charles Q. HASTINGS and The Farmers' Loan and Trust company, of Kansas, will take notice that the said Emily E. LAWTON, plaintiff, did on the 11th day of April, 1891, file her petition in said district court within and for the county of Logan and state of Kansas against Charles Q. HASTINGS and the Farmers' Loan and Trust company, as aforesaid, and that the said defendants, Charles Q. HASTINGS an The Farmers' Loan and Trust company, of Kansas, must answer said petition filed as aforesaid on or before the 15th day of June, A. D. 1891, or said petition will be taken as true and a judgment rendered in said action against Charles Q. HASTINGS for the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars, with interest at the rate of 12 per cent per annum from April 1, 1891, and for the further sum of $15.75, with interest thereon at 12 per cent from April 1, 1890, and for the further sum of $5.75, with interest thereon at 12 per cent from October 1, 1890, and for the further sum of $15.75, with interest thereon at 12 per cent from April 1, 1891, and for the costs of suit, and for a further judgment against the defendants, Charles Q. HASTINGS and The Farmers Loan and Trust company, of Kansas, for the foreclosure of a certain real estate mortgage upon the following described real estate, to wit: The southwest quarter of section eight (8), in township fifteen (15) south, range thirty-three (33) west of the 6th principal meridien, (sic) containing one hundred and sixty acres, more or less, and said land lying and situate in Logan county, Kansas, and adjudging that the plaintiff has the first lien on said premises for the several amounts for which judgment is asked and for which judgment will be taken as aforesaid, and ordering said premises sold without appraisement and the proceeds applied to the payment of the amount due plaintiff and costs of suit, and forever barring and foreclosing said defendants and each of them and of and from all right, title and interest in and to property in and equity of redemption in or to said premises or any part thereof. {seal} K.
