RESOLUTION OF THANKS. 

Monument, Kas., Feb. 25, 1891.

At a relief meeting held in Summers township, Thomas county, Kansas, on 
Saturday, Feb. 21, 1891, it was voted that,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. WOODFORD and the good people of Waterville, Kan., 
have so kindly administered unto us in this our time of need, caused by the 
failure of crops of last year, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That as citizens of Thomas county, Kansas, and friends of Mr. and 
Mrs. WOODFORD, former neighbors of ours, it is meet that we express our 
gratitude for the interest they have manifested in our behalf,

That we, as recipients of these charities, most heartily, sincerely and 
unanimously unite in one general acclamation of thanks unto them, for their 
beneficence toward us, 

That we not only thank these benefactors, but that our hearts be lifted in 
gratitude and praise unto God, the giver of every good and perfect and may the 
God of Heaven bless these kind people and shower his blessings upon them 
continually for administering unto his creatures, is our most earnest prayer 
and desire, 

That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the Waterville Journal, the Colby 
Tribune, and the Oakley GRAPHIC for publication.
