SMITH, the prominent railroad man, who died in the City of Mexico recently, has been admitted to probate. It leaves bequests of $10,000 to each of Mr. SMITH's sisters, $5,000 apiece to several nieces and nephews, a 940-acre farm and one-third interest in the Leavenworth water-works to his adopted daughter, Miss Helen HEWIT. The remainder of the estate is left to his wife, to do with as she deems proper. William MARTIN, W. G. BOLGMAN and Wm. T. HEWIT are appointed to settle the estate, which is valued at over one million dollars.
