The Oakley Graphic
Eugene SCHUYLER, American consul at Cairo, Egypt, died there a few days  
since.  He has long been in diplomatic positions.  Mr. SCHUYLER was of  the old 
New York Knickerbocker stock, and was closely related to Phillip  SCHUYLER, one 
of the first settlers of Kansas, at Burlingame.  He has  visited his Kansas 
relatives and is remembered by many in Topeka and in the  state.
