The Oakley GRAPHIC, Oakley, Logan County, Kansas; July 23, 1891

Jos. LAMONT and family were down from Colby Saturday and Sunday to attend the 
funeral of C. A. SMITH's baby.  


Died--On Friday, July 17, 1891, Gladys, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. SMITH, 
of cholera infantum, aged 11 months and 20 days.  The funeral was held in the 
M. E. church Saturday afternoon, the 18th, and the services were conducted by 
Rev. SHACKELFORD.  The whole community mourns with Mr. and Mrs. SMITH in the 
loss of their bright baby.
