SOLLARS ------------------------ Sadie A. Sollars died Monday at the Kansas Masonic Home in Wichita, where she moved from Emporia four years ago. Until she retired, Miss Sollars was a department manager at the former Poole's Department Store. She was born near Council Grove on April 28, 1891, the daughter of John and Nancy Dollison Sollars. Miss Sollars was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church and Miriam Chapter 14 of the Order of the Eastern Star, both at Emporia. She is survived by nephews and nieces, including Dick Sollars of Emporia, Ross Hager and Vernon Hager, both of Council Grove, and Mrs. Ermal Thomas-Droege of Council Grove. A graveside service was to be held this morning at Greenwood Cemetery at Council Grove. The Rev. Bob Park was to conduct the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Masonic Home.
