D/O Clarence Raymond and Lola Ellen Simmons Boston. She grew up in Lance Creek,
Wyo., and returned to Kansas after high school to attend beauty school. She was
a former resident of Liberal, Pagosa Springs, Colo., and moved to Casper, Wyo.,
in 2003.

On Jan. 30, 1953, she married Gerald G. Thomas in Emporia. He died July 4, 1989.
