Obituary - Edward Padgett Burkett

Obituary: "Word  was received last Tuesday that Edward Padgett Burkett died 
January 17, 2000, in  a hospital in Sunnyvale, CA after an illiness of heart 
trouble.

"Burkett  was born in Winfield, KS, February 28, 1929, to Ralph and Azalea 
Padgett  Burkett. His parents and a brother preceded him in death. "He leaves 
his wife,  Barbara, of their home; a daughter: a son; four grandchildren; a 
sister, Mrs.  Nelson (Connie) Bandelow of Vandelia, IL;

an aunt, Mrs. Curtis  (Elizabeth) Padgett of Hillsboro and other relatives 
and friends.

"Gladys  Jewell of Peabody, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Padgett and Mr. & Mrs. 
Walter  Ireland of Florence are first cousins."
