Loretta Johnson

WICHITA -- Loretta JOHNSON, Wichita, died May 9, 1991, at HCA Wesley Medical 
Center in Wichita, following a sudden illness.  She was 86.

Born Aug. 14, 1904, in McPherson, she was the daughter of Charles B. and Lura 
(DAVIS) ALLEN.  She married Harold W. JOHNSON March 15, 1931, in McPherson.  
He died May 13, 1970.  She was a former schoolteacher and homemaker.  She 
lived in McPherson from 1951 to 1983, when she moved to Wichita.  She was a
member of the New Gottland Lutheran Church of McPherson and the McPherson Area 
Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors are:  her daughter, Marinell KREBBS, Wichita; a sister Neva 
BLACKABY, Crowder, Okla., and two grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ball and Son Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Paul HAWKINSON.  Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Friends may 
call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ball and Son.

Memorials are suggested to the McPherson Senior Center.

Johnson services

Services for Loretta JOHNSON were conducted May 11, 1991, at Ball and Son 
Chapel, McPherson, with The Rev. Paul HAWKINSON officiating.

Music was provided by James PAULS, organist.  Burial was in McPherson 
Cemetery.

Ball and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
