Carl Smith

LYONS -- Carl SMITH, Lyons, died May 7, 1991, at Lyons District 
Hospital.  He was 54.

Born Feb. 27, 1937, at Teaneck, N.J., he was the son of Joseph Abraham 
and Agnes (MULLETT) SMITH.  He married Josephine LIMONES Feb. 23, 1957, 
at Lyons.  She survives.  He was a longtime Lyons resident and a member 
of St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors in addition to his wife, are:  two sons, James and Eric, both 
of Lyons; a daughter, Michelle SCHLESINGER, McPherson; a brother, 
Robert, Glen Falls, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

Rosary was 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons.  Funeral 
mass was at 11 a.m. today at S. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons, with 
Father James HOAGLAND presiding.  Burial was in Lyons Municipal 
Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Alcoholics Anonymous, Lyons, and may be sent 
in care of the funeral home.
