W. Callahan, at Martinsville, Illinois, April 21, 1923, at the age of 24 years. He had been in declining health for many months and returned to his home March 3, 1923 from Osawatomie, Kansas, where he had been employed. He was employed here in caring for a lease of 13 oil wells south of Oswatomie for nearly four years. He roomed at 415 Chesnut avenue, and was a young man of fine habits, always courteous and obliging. He was forced by failing health to resign his job here and return home, where he gradually declined. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery at Marshall.
