The Oswatomie Graphic, Miami County, Thursday, April 12, 1923
Mrs. Newton HARDWICK, daughter of Mrs E. M. SMITH, died last Thursday, April 5,
in Mattoon, Ill.
Mrs. Hardwick's home was formerly Osawatomie, has many friends here who
sympathize sincerely with the bereaved family.
She leaves a husband and three small children and her mother and sister here.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Miss Josephine Berry left for Mattoon immediately upon
hearing of her serious condition, but did not arrive until after her death. Word
was received that Mr. Smith would return Wednesday.
